About us
Since its establishment, Veszprémi Programiroda Kft. has been organizing major cultural events related to national holidays, and significant days in Veszprém. Its main tasks include enriching the event palette of Hangvilla Multifunctional Community Space, which represents the cultural heartbeat of the city, with light and classical music concerts, folk music and folk dance performances, theatrical and dance productions, entertaining and educational presentations, and children's programs, providing a quality leisure opportunity not only for the residents of the city but also for those living in the region. In addition, utilizing the versatile features of Hangvilla, we also organize national and international conferences, professional meetings, and workshops. Our goal is to continuously reinterpret and refresh the city's major cultural events, keeping in mind the quality and the demands of today's age, in collaboration with Veszprém's cultural institutions and civil associations, and in harmony with the objectives of VEB 2023 Zrt. in 2023.

Gizella Days All-arts Festival
Preserving Veszprém's thousand-year-old traditions while offering contemporary experiences, the Gizella Days All-arts Festival takes place every May for one week.
The festival is named after Queen Gizella, the wife of St. Stephen, who had a strong connection to beloved Veszprém, not only according to legend but also according to numerous historical records. Visitors can even meet the royal couple in person during the festival's permanent program element, the historical procession that evokes the era of state founding. The program includes concerts, family activities, exhibitions, workshops, and theatrical performances that bring the atmosphere of that time to life.

GyereKert Children's Festival
The GyereKert program series, which runs from Gizella Days to Children's Day over four weekends, was launched in 2022. During the children's festival, the Theater-garden becomes Queen Gizella's courtyard, offering concerts, playhouses, and craft workshops for families, providing an unforgettable experience for the youngest.
MARKETS, OLD TOWN MARKET:
Since the fall of 2021, the Veszprém Program Office has been involved in organizing and running markets related to major urban events and the Old Town Market. Applications for markets related to Gizella Days and St. Michael's Day fair are welcome at jelenkezes@veszpremiprogramiroda.hu.
