Accessibility

Events organized at the Hangvilla are accessible for visitors with wheelchairs, disabilities, baby strollers, the elderly, those with limited mobility, cognitive disorders, and guide dogs. The building can be accessed without barriers from the public area, and the level difference at the main entrance on Brusznyai Árpád Street is bridged by a ramp, with the entrance door being automatic. The information desk, ticket counters, and the ground floor café and restaurant are easily accessible. The event rooms and the cloakroom can be reached without barriers with the help of a elevator, and there is an accessible toilet on every floor of the building.

At the Hangvilla information desk, sign language video interpretation service assists with communication for visitors who are hearing-impaired.

Family-friendly events

We organize indoor and outdoor programs, concerts, and workshops for children throughout the year. City-wide events and festivals also include program elements specifically designed for families and children.

There is a diaper changing station in the Hangvilla's ground floor restroom, and toilet seat reducers are also available. For seated performances, we can provide booster seats for children.

To ensure that even the youngest members of the audience can experience the joy of live music up close, we make earplug cases available at our outdoor concerts.

Green initiatives

We strive to minimize the environmental impact of our events. We place selective waste collection containers for paper, plastic, and mixed waste in both the Hangvilla building and the locations of our outdoor events.

We request that the vendors and restaurateurs at our markets and events at the Old Town Market use environmentally-friendly utensils, plates, cups, and packaging.
